Our Pilot(s)
 | I am John Justad and I have been spending the summer in the Hackensack MN area since 1960. My fascination with aviation began when I was a teenager and it has deepened over the years. In 1990, I began flying, and in 1993 I bought the Webb Lake Airport. For the last 15 years, I have lived year-round at the Webb Lake Airport, which is 5 miles east of town. |
I am a 2,000-hour commercial, instrument-rated pilot. I fly extensively each year for my Theatrical contracting business, which takes me around the upper Midwest. For that travel I use my Cessna 182, a four-seat, land plane.
The "Beaver" seaplane is usually at my dock at Webb Lake Airport or at Sky Harbor Airport in Duluth in the summer. Off season, the "Beaver" stays in my hangar at Sky Harbor for annual maintenance and winter storage.
Lake Country Air Service helps me share the excitement of flying over this beautiful area. With all the flying I have done around this country, my favorite flying is right here in the lakes country. It is such fun to see familiar places from an unfamiliar vantage point. |
