| Minimum Weather Requirements for Flying
General conditions for our flying will be: - No Precipitation
- Winds at or under 15 mph
- Clouds at least 1000 feet above the ground
Other factors, even if the general conditions are met: - We will not fly if there are storms in the area and thunderstorms must be at least 25 miles away and be moving away from our area.
- Excessive heat and humidity can lead to poor aircraft performance, may be flyable but with reduced passenger loads.
- No flying too early in the AM. Normally after 9 AM, and wrapping up by 9 PM as a general guideline.
- Seaplanes generally do not fly at night and we will need time to return to base after the last flight of the evening.
